It is said that the world is a global village. But how true is that? Of course, access to information has been revolutionized with the introduction of the world wide web. Indeed, one can easily learn about Italian culture online, but to what extent is this world global if there is barely any information on Burkinabe culture, or Cape Verdean local artists. To what extent does globalization include the real Africa? This is the concern Afri Diary aspires to address. We tell stories through art. Stories from Casablanca to Cape town, and from Mogadishu to Conakry but also stories beyond Africa. More importantly, we tell the stories of the voices dimmed by stereotypes and the sometimes prejudicial world we live in. We are bridge builders. And you are too, if you are reading this.
